1st visit to Soba. Food was different but welcome, service excellent too. Pretty loud music made it hard to chat but I guess it is Bar Soba.

We were here celebrating our Golden Wedding with family. Staff & food were excellent and very good value for money. We would highly recommend this restaurant and would certainly return at a later date.

Nice central location and very pleasant room. The food was OK. The fish and chips were better than the steak which was cooked without the option of having it rarer. The waiter misunderstood us twice which led to mistakes eg wrong sort of coffee.

Local Voice

Edinburgh's New Town is some 200 years old but still looks remarkably handsome. The generous proportions of its Georgian townhouses make for some very elegant dining rooms; many of which serve equally impressive food.
