Tapa Reviews

  • Tapas with Wine (Rating 4/5)
The tried and tested £25 deal for 4 tapas and a bottle of wine per couple is a good way to enjoy a meal for 4. We were well looked after, with one bottle of red and one of white. Only niggles are the charge for extra bread (one slice per person is never going to be enough to eat tapas) and the fact that we were charged for the highest price tapas overall when we went for a second order of a low priced tapa after we'd had our eight courses. Computer's programmed that way, no doubt! Otherwise a pleasant evening in a very busy restaurant.

  • Great Saturday evening (Rating 4.6/5)
On arriving at the restaurant they had not received our booking however the staff dealt with this problem with ease, managing to find us a table on a busy Saturday evening. Choosing only 4 tapas from an extensive menu was tricky but the end results were greatly enjoyable with generous helpings of fresh and tasty food, in particular the chorizo with chipped potatoes and egg. The service was friendly and energetic in a lively and buzzing atmosphere. The deal was fantastic value for money, rare for two people to be amply fed and get a bottle of wine for £25 and I will definitely be returning!

  • The best tapas restaurant in Edinburgh (Rating 4.6/5)
This feels like the real deal. The atmosphere is good and on our visit there was live music. Staff are very attentive and the food arrives very quickly. It was really busy when we went and so pretty noisy but not in a bad way. Well worth a visit.
