Rating Absolutely superb!! (Rating 5.0/5)
We visited Quattrozero yesterday evening for the 2 courses for £9.95 deal. We also took our 3 year old who had the 3 course children's menu for a mere £5.50!! My partner had the stuffed mushrooms starter whilst I had the caprese salad, both were beautifully presented and delicious! My partner then had the arrabiata pasta which was very flavourful with lots of tomatoes, herbs and a subtle chilli kick. I had the verde risotto which is basically vegetable risotto with 7 or 8 different vegetables in it. The risotto was spectacular! It was creamy, well cooked and had an abundance of flavours which I did not expect in a vegetable dish, it was an excellent choice and the portion side was fantastic especially for the price we were paying! My son had a pepperoni pizza which I expected to be small and basic however it was the opposite! It was a huge pizza with lots of melted cheese, spicy pepperoni and a gorgeous crisp base with a sweet tomato sauce, I polished off what my son left on his plate!! Us adults then had a slice of chocolate cake each and my son had an ice cream with chocolate sauce, all the deserts were fabulous too. The atmosphere was excellent, it felt like a real family run Italian and it was cosy, warm and colourful. The highlight of the entire meal was the staff especially Phillipe and Sara the waiting staff, they were both amazing with my son and chatted away to him and answered all of his questions, Jack was very happy that Phillipe and Sara were taking an interest in him and that they were actively encouraging him to help them around the restaurant and even allowed him to meet the chef!! This is a fantastic little restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, brilliant staff and amazing food. I have a feeling that with Quattrozero being as well priced as it is I might never cook my own food again!!! Thank you again Phillipe and Sara!
