  Been here once before but was in the bar area, this time we booked the auditorium restaurant and it was very nice with a good ambience. Originally booked the A La Carte Offer - £25 for 3 courses - but there was not much choice so decided to go for the full A La Carte menu which worked out about the same price. Overall good value for money and the meal was very enjoyable.

  Seemed to be some confusion regarding the 5pm offer on which menu we had to choose from and the waitress was new, which was quite obvious. Food good though.

  Good food - although service was a bit slow as you tended to be left for long periods given our position at the rear of the bar. Could not fault the value for money deal of the Winter Menu though.

  Disappointed!! I booked the "Fish and Chips Friday" option for colleagues and was embarassed when the food was served. The food itself was lovely but the protion size was really no more than a snack. The fish had been halved lengthways so we only got half a fish each with a handful of chips. I saw other larger plates later which had a full fish on so can only assume that they halve the portions for the "offer" - not good value considering the "full portion" is £8.95 and we paid £6.95. If we had known that the quantity of food was reduced for the offer we'd have paid the full price. Left hungry, even after dessert, and I'm a small build female...

  5pm lunch offer is very good - great ambience and very nice food at reasonable prices.
