What are Loyalty Points?
5pm offers Loyalty Points on selected restaurant offers. Collect them and save up for free meals, spa days, beauty treatments, adventure days, flying lessons and more…
We offer 90 Loyalty Points for each member of your party when booking most restaurant offers. To collect points simply review the restaurants within one month of taking up your booking. You can do this by logging in then clicking on 'My History' on the left hand navigation bar and clicking 'review' next to relevant bookings. Look out for other ways to collect points on the site including recommending new restaurants and giving site feedback.
How can I redeem my Loyalty Points?
Loyalty Points can be redeemed against gift vouchers (view them all on the Gift Vouchers page). The gift vouchers available to you will appear in the 'Loyalty Points' page of your 'My 5pm' account. As you collect more points more gift vouchers will appear, ranging from 1000 points for a £5 restaurant voucher to 33,000 Loyalty Points for a 3 month membership of Greens Health and Fitness.
Vouchers are posted first class recorded to you by the voucher provider and should take no longer than 2 working days.
Vouchers are restaurant/establishment specific. You can redeem your vouchers against 5pm bookings but at this time we do not offer a general 5pm voucher.
What are reviews and ratings?
5pm invites its members to review and rate restaurants they have visited, these reviews and ratings are moderated for offensive material and displayed on the site to help you in making your choice of restaurant.
To view reviews you need to be registered on the site and logged in. You can register and log in by clicking the appropriate link at the top of the right hand column of the site. Once you're logged in the reviews appear in the tabs above each restaurant listing. Simply click on the tab to view them.
How do I submit my own reviews?
To review a restaurant you must first have booked it through 5pm.co.uk and visited it. Then you can either click on the link at the bottom of your confirmation email or click on 'My History' in your 'My 5pm' account and follow 'review' link next to relevant bookings. You can review a restaurant for up to one month after the date of your booking, and you can submit a review for every booking you've taken up, even if they are for the same restaurant. Selected restaurant offers also carry Loyalty Points, which you collect by submitting reviews.
Does 5pm publish negative reviews?
In brief, yes. 5pm moderates all reviews for brevity, clarity and any libellous content before they are published, but the vast majority of reviews are published as they are submitted, whether they are positive or negative.
Occasionally we will edit a review to remove any potentially libellous content or bad language, and very, very occasionally we will find a review that is inappropriate for the site and we will be unable to publish it. 5pm operates under the libel laws in the UK. We moderate reviews that may be libellous not only for our own protection but also for the protection of our users , who themselves may be open to legal action.

Why do restaurants use 5pm?
Restaurants are seldom full so they work with 5pm.co.uk to offer great meal deals on tables that would otherwise be empty. The restaurants that are listed on 5pm have signed up for our service. If you can't find the restaurant that you're looking for or know a restaurant that you would love to see listed why not fill in the 'Suggest a Restaurant' form on the right hand navigation?
What are Special Offers?
5pm allows its members to book special offers for restaurants, spas, salons and much more. We always try to encourage our partners to provide the best deal possible, but the details of the offers are completely at their discretion. If you think an offer could be better value for money why not submit a review or email us in some feedback and we'll pass it on to the restaurant?
Special offers are clearly marked in the offer listings.
Can I book a restaurant in advance?
Most restaurant and lifestyle offers are available to book in advance – click on 'Book a restaurant' in the left hand navigation bar or the 'Advanced Booking' quick link in the search box to search for special offers in advance.
What is the Lifestyle section?
Like restaurants hairdressers, spas, beauty salons and many other types of business have quiet times so they work with 5pm.co.uk to offer great deals on appointments that would otherwise be empty. These can often be things like last minute or standby hair styling or off peak spa treatments.
How do I cancel a 5pm booking?
If you've made a booking through 5pm.co.uk and your plans change then don't worry – it's not a problem to cancel. Simply log in then click on the 'cancel a booking' link under 'Restaurants' in the left hand navigation bar or go to 'My History' in my 5pm. If you need to change the size or time of your booking then please drop us an email at customercare@5pm.co.uk with all the details of your booking and the changes you'd like to make and we'll do this for you.
What are gift vouchers?
5pm sells gift vouchers online on behalf of a number of different restaurants on the site, as well as spas, salons, adventure centres, flight schools, cookery schools and much more. These are paid for online and then the relevant company posts out the gift vouchers to the address you provide. All the companies featured on the gift vouchers page signed up for this service, but if you can't find what you're looking for then drop us an email at customercare@5pm.co.uk with the details of the company you'd like to see featured and we'll approach them and invite them to work with us.
Gift vouchers can also be purchased using Loyalty Points, see the Loyalty Points listing below for more info.

At 5pm.co.uk we appreciate all feedback and we take all complaints very seriously. If you'd like to make a complaint please use our feedback form at the bottom of the left hand navigation bar. We would ask you to bear in mind however that 5pm.co.uk is not a recommendations service and we have no control over the quality of food or service in restaurants or other companies we work with and while we will of course pass on any complaints of this nature we cannot follow them up and you may prefer to raise them directly with the restaurant or other company.
