Did not live up to expectations of the Hilton brand (Rating 2.4/5)
We were greeted warmly in a lovely reception and offered a refreshment. The decor looked lovely and in keeping with what we expected. However it was then very odd that the reception turned out to not actually be where the spa was and we were taken up in a lift to another floor and left sitting on a bench in the main leisure area reception facing the lifts. The treatments themselves were fine (not the best I've had but by no means terrible). I was asked had i ordered a robe and slippers to which i said no (surely these should come as standard in a spa experience??) and was told i would have had to have upgraded to get these. When i met my friend in the changing room she was in a robe and slippers that her therapist had provided her without question (not consistent!). The changing and whole pool spa area looked very dated and shabby and certainly not what we anticipated from a Hilton hotel. I think a major refurbishment is required of the area. In all slightly disappointed.
