What are RSS Feeds?
RSS Feeds allow you to see when websites have updated or added new
content. With 5pm's restaurant feeds you can see when a new restaurant
is added or get the days offers delivered straight to you every day
without having to visit the site.
How can I use feeds?
To begin, you need a news reader. This is a piece of software that
checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been
added. There are many different news readers some of which are
downloadable and some can be used within your web browser (It may be
called Live Bookmarks in your browser.)
Javascript/XML Feeds
A feature aimed at website designers and webmasters who want to add
something extra to their website. By simply choosing an area and a
number of offers, 5pm can provide you with custom generated javascript
code for you to insert on your website, which allows your visitors to
view offers on 5pm without leaving your site! We have made this
feature fully customisable, so you can integrate this feature
seamlessly into your website.
To use this feature you have to register. If you have already
registered for 5pm feeds, use your username and password to login and
create a new 5pm javascript/xml feed, or edit your account details.
