Decorated in bright colours, dark wood and patterned Spanish tiles Cafe Andaluz is exactly what's needed when you're looking for a little Andalucian warmth to chase away winter blues or when the Scottish summer fails to deliver. The menu features tapas and paella, which naturally lend themselves to sharing, so it's a fantastic destination for groups of friends or family. With over 30 different veggie, meaty and seafood tapas to choose from everyone is sure to be spoilt for choice but anything with chorizo is always a safe bet, the chorizo and black pudding in a spicy tomato sauce is particularly good. All the Spanish classics are on show, including patatas bravas and tortilla, but there are also some more unusual dishes, such as the cold smoked duck with pear and baked goats' cheese with Seville orange and chilli (sounds bizzare but is really lovely). And to wash it all down there's ice-cold sangria available by the glass, as well as a good selection of wines and beers.
