Review of Bloomsbury Street Bar & Restaurant
“This was my second vist to this restaurant, the first was very good but was very dissapointed the second time. No apperitifs on second visit. Service was poor, waited 50mins for first course (only 2 other tables occupied when we arrived, other diners that came in after us were served quicker). Food was good when we were eventually served but due to being overcharged and poor service I will not be visiting this restaurant again.”

Review of Bloomsbury Street Bar & Restaurant
“Dined at the Bloomsbury Street Bar & Restaurant on 19th March. Prior to meal we were offered apperitifs which were delicious. Both starter & main course were excellent and served on hot plates. Presentation was pleasing to the eye. Service was very professional. Tea/Coffee included in the set menu and included a piece of millionare shortbread. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would certainly pay another visit to this restaurant.”

Review of Bloomsbury Street Bar & Restaurant
“Everything about Glass oozes class. I'd never heard of it before so I didn't know what to expect, but from a classy pre-prandial G&T in the smart bar to the last mouthful of delectable rare Kent lamb, nothing could have been improved upon.
Admittedly, as we ate early (6.45pm) there were not many customers, but even so the service was exemplary. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely stunning. My potted duck with smoked duck breast was the most incredible I've ever tasted and my partner's poached pear, rocket and stilton salad (if I recall correctly) was equally good. The main courses of salmon and lamb followed swiftly (but not too swiftly) and were of an equally high mouth-watering standard.
The total bill including service was £26: no wine (January detox!) and with 5pm.co.uk's 50% discount on food. Worth every penny, even without the discount.
While I was waiting for my partner to powder her nose afterwards, I chatted to the maitre d' who explained that all (or at least 90%) of their food is sourced in the British Isles and they change the menu regularly depending on availability, and they explain in the menu where all the food is from.
Wonderful food, wonderful service and wonderful staff. What more could you ask for in a restaurant? Apart from maybe a candle on the table; but I'm really splitting hairs now.
I urge you, in the collective interest in gastronomy, to go to this restaurant now: you won't be disappointed.
Patrick Johns”
